Lab User Tests

This project was made to test user's understanding of two different kinds of interactions to manipulate a strip of LEDs: one interaction was with rotary potentiometers (the ones we normally know from turning up or down the music), the other interaction was with a distance sensor. The test was carried out in a laboratory fashion, where everything was very controlled and clean. Our hypotheses was that the tangible potentiometers would be easiest and most transparent to understand, but the result weren't as clear-cut as we had anticipated, and the insights prompted.

In the video you will see one of the test subjects engaging in our laboratory test.
